"Premiere" is a tribute to Heiner Carows feature film „Coming Out“ which premiere took place on the same evening as the fall of the Berlin Wall. The only queer visibility on the big screen during the GDR shown for the first time (in a cinema called „Kino International“) on the very same day the destruction of the Iron Curtain begun. The work examines the intertwined history of censorship in political systems and access to autonomous image production.
